Brian Muyekwe |
My name is Brian
Muyekwe. I am a boy, I am six years old, I am in pre-unit at Crossroads
Springs Institute in Western Kenya in Vihiga District.
My late father died
in the year 2000 when we were young. I like my school because it’s very
different to other public schools around our zone. They provide us with
learning materials like books pencils and crayons, we always have snack
and lunch at school. They also provide us with uniforms and medicine
when we are sick.
All this due to the
effort of our new and caring parents from America. I like them and pray
for them to continue with that spirit.
I like my teachers
at school. Especially my class teacher Miss Lavine Chebet who is loving,
caring and hard working towards building my future.
I would like to be a
secondary teacher in future at school. |

Collins Busolo |
My name is Collins
Busolo, I’m a boy, I’m seven years old, I’m in class one at Crossroads
Springs Institute, which is in Western Kenya. I love Crossroads because
of the tender care we are given as pupils, unlike other schools around.
My father Jackson
Isuza passed away the year 2003 and I was left an orphan. I’m really
struggling with my academic standard that is why I managed to score 510
marks out of 600 marks. This placed me at number (1) out of 32 pupils in
our class one. This was in the last terms examinations.
I would like to
thank everyone who is contributing to our better stay and learning at
Crossorads, like our teachers and mostly our donors at the United
States. I like teachers at Crossroads because they love us and teach
very well to our understanding level, especially our class teacher
Raydon Aligula, who teaches us good songs and poems.
My ambition in life
after school I would like to be a policeman. |

Mike Amusavi |
My name is Mike
Amusavi. I am in class two at Crossroads Springs Institute in Western
Kenya. My parents Mable Mideva and Charles Simidi passed away. I am an
orphan aged 8 years. My class teacher’s name is Mr. Nicholas Amulavu.
I would like to
appreciate to my donors for the great assistance they give me i.e. free
education, clothing and food.
I also give my
appreciation to my class teacher and teachers who are determined and
hardworking in giving us quality education that I didn’t experience in
my former public school. Through these they have made me to develop
vision and ambitions to be a teacher in life.
Because of NOT
proper care at home, I kindly request my donors to sustain me at
Crossroads Springs Institute for my visions and ambitions to be revealed
in future. |

Victor Ulira |
My name is Victor
Ulira, I am a boy, I am eleven years, I am in standard three at
Crossroads Springs Institute in Western Kenya.
My father Joel
Kituge passed away the year 1997, I like our school because there is a
free uniform, books and food. We don’t pay anything like other public
schools, I like my donors who have made our life to be easier (from
U.S.A.) That is why I am top always (number one)
I like my teachers
too, they are loving, hardworking, caring, and they teach us well. My
class teacher Mr. Kenneth S. Alusiola is a good teacher in school, he
guides us. I would like to be a doctor when I grow up. |
