Crossroads Springs Institute Children's School/Care Center for African Orphans of HIV/AIDS

Your support is needed for:

q Completion of the new classroom building offering Grades 1-8 good learning space, while providing for Early Childhood Education classrooms, kitchen, dining room, and expanded dorm space in original building.

q Completion of the building to pass inspection by the Public Health Office. Because of the great number of children in need, permission was granted to serve children, pending completion as soon as possible.

Building a classroom building for the children

q To be completed: Exterior and interior plastering and painting; windows, doors, bathrooms; furnishings for classrooms, staff room, and library/computer room.

q Future health and agricultural support to surrounding villages to assist more children through outreach to guardians and children in child-headed households.

A Well for fresh water has been dug! The water is "Clean, Clear and Tasteless!" Read about it in the May 2007 Newsletter.

Scholarship:

Please consider a $600 Scholarship to one of those 25 CSI graduates so they can continue their secondary education for at least one more year.
